Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing and monitoring consumer-facing products and services to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Supports identification of compliance gaps and contributes to reporting outputs.
- Participates in periodic risk assessments and related testing activities to evaluate compliance risks and control effectiveness.
- Assists in documenting findings and supporting issue resolution.
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Helps ensure content reflects current regulatory expectations and supports employee understanding.
- Reviews marketing materials, disclosures, and customer-facing documents to support compliance with applicable laws and internal standards.
- Affords assistance in preparing materials for audits and regulatory examinations and maintains documentation of compliance activities and records.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience or certification(s).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in legal or regulatory compliance, or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving, results driven, and risk analysis.
- Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in bank acumen, business acumen, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, laws and regulations, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrates ability to analyze information, communicate effectively, and collaborate across functions while supporting compliance processes and regulatory adherence.
