About the role

This role is part of the Finance team within our Finance group, focusing on data analysis, reporting, and supporting cargo revenue accounting and corporate projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage revenue and receivables for all postal administration accounts, including invoicing, payment application, and discrepancy resolution.
- Maintain heavy contact with postal customers.
- Conduct weekly audits of AA’s cargo billing portal.
- Reconcile and apply payments received via 3 lockboxes that are not automatically applied.
- Research and analyze overpayment claims for customers paying by credit card.
- Identify, analyze, and capture revenue not captured through normal channels.
- Report, track, and manage system defects related to the iCargo system.
- Serve as a backup to L3/L4 Analyst.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous accounting/finance experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Strong data mining skills and proficiency in Microsoft Access and/or other database systems.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for problem-solving with strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience/training.
- Knowledge of Mosaic, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience with the iCargo system.
