About the role

This position provides functional and business analytical support to the Business Readiness & Support (BR&S) team. The role involves reviewing daily error logs, conducting root cause investigations, and analyzing billing and invoice-related problems in both test and production environments. Additionally, the team member will support business analyst efforts across all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements definition, functional design, testing, and production implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day production support for Customer Service business units.
  • Identify, communicate, prioritize, document, and resolve SAP CCS and/or related interface production issues between business, IT, and/or vendors.
  • Work closely with IT development resources and the CS teams on solution alternatives to resolve customer-related defects, new developments, and establish standards, procedures, and documentation of SAP system enhancements.
  • Support business units, IT, and/or external vendors to understand, define business requirements, and implement regulatory objectives in line with CCS system and/or related interfaces.
  • Support analysis, project scheduling, requirements/design documentation, test plans, testing, test result documentation, implementation, and post-implementation support.
  • Effectively prioritize and resolve project issues between business, IT, and/or vendors.
  • Create, maintain, and promote standard documentation (e.g., requirements, test plans, test cases, project schedules, implementation plans, procedures, instructions, inventories, checklists, reference materials, training materials, templates).
  • Ensure appropriate quality controls are in place and utilized relating to adequate audit mechanisms within department operations.
  • Ensure consistent and effective change control, quality assurance procedures, and corrective actions are utilized.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (preferred).
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (required).
  • High School/GED with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of advanced experience in this specific field.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $87,600 to $109,500, dependent upon experience and location.

Avangrid employees may be assigned a system emergency role and, in the event of a system emergency, may be required to work outside of their regular schedule/job duties. This applies to employees in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York within Avangrid Network and Corporate functions (excluding Avangrid Power).

Avangrid employees may also be assigned a NERC Reliability Standards compliance role supporting Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and/or Operations and Planning (O&P) responsibilities. This applies to employees in electric transmission, operations, and cybersecurity business areas in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York within Avangrid Network and Corporate business areas. NERC Reliability Standards compliance roles may include additional access protections, training, audit engagement, and required evidence retention.
