This position supports customer requirements to meet established timelines and other related duties for the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Facilities Operations DSF. Approximately 80% telework and 20% on-site work.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Location: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal).

Responsibilities

  • Comply with federal acquisition regulations and agency guidelines for government purchase cards.
  • Track and report status of purchases; identify order discrepancies, changes, cancellations, and dis-approvals.
  • Obtain documentation for purchases in compliance with federal acquisitions regulations and agency guidelines.
  • Maintain and update customer database.
  • Conduct research and analyze data; prepare and maintain a variety of statistical reports, records, and files.
  • Compose reports, procedures, and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field; no direct experience required. Two years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning, analysis, and trend analysis.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to support multiple projects, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and manage customer and contractor relationships.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Exceptionally strong MS Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and skilled in operating standard office equipment.

  • Approximately 80% telework and 20% on-site work.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Regularly required to write and type on a computer.
  • Frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

Work Environment

  • Job duties performed in a manufacturing/office environment using standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, and telephone.
  • Noise level is usually low to moderate.
