Analyst/Associate, Pan-Alts

Our business provides clients with advisory, investment management, and research services across private credit, private equity, real assets, and hedge funds. As of March 31, 2026, Aksia advises on over $338bn and manages $36bn of client capital.

About the role

This position is based in Aksia’s New York office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, clients, and prospects. The Pan-Alternatives team is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with sophisticated investors by bringing together the firm’s resources for each client. The team works with existing clients on portfolio development and implementation, and leads the firm’s marketing and business development efforts across business lines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client meeting preparation for both existing and prospective clients, including presentations and other ad-hoc projects
• Develop knowledge and expertise of new managers, strategies, and investment opportunities to help clients meet their objectives
• Track, coordinate, and complete ongoing client deliverables
• Liaise with internal teams to complete ad-hoc client projects
• Support senior colleagues with marketing initiatives
• Maintain and develop firm marketing materials
• Develop a robust network of prospective clients in a given area of focus

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience across private markets, ideally in an investment or client-facing role
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent project management skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage deliverables independently
• Attentive to detail
• Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic

Pay

Estimated base salary range for this New York–based position is $80,000 – $120,000. Individual compensation will vary with experience and local cost of labor. Total compensation includes base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
