Analog IC Design Engineer

The Advanced Imaging Group within InSyS is searching for an Analog IC Design Engineer to help position SRI for continued growth in silicon CMOS, CCD, III-V, and ROIC-based imaging technologies and products deployed in commercial, government, and military markets. This role is based onsite in our Princeton, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior designers on designing, modeling, and laying out analog/mixed-signal circuit components.
- Collaborate with pixel, digital, and camera design teams to create state-of-the-art imagers.
- Write Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and communicate with internal and external teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Master’s degree as a new graduate.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Knowledge of analog circuits such as bandgap references, OpAmps, comparators, filters, ADC, DAC, PLL, and high-speed IO cells.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor, Layout Editor, or Spectre/APS SPICE simulators.
- Experience in analog IC layout to address DRC, LVS, matching, shielding, electromigration, IR drops, and power/ground bouncing issues.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Design and tape-out experience of analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits.
- Familiarity with VerilogA/AMS behavioral modeling.
- Familiarity with switched-capacitor circuit design.
- Familiarity with CMOS image sensor design.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, including handling client interactions and presentations.
- Self-starter who can work independently.
- Able to collaborate in a team environment with device design, digital design, layout, simulation, test, and packaging teams.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $81,522–$108,018. Ranges vary based on geographic location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. Positions may also qualify for SRI’s Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance-Based Compensation program.
