About the role
Post-doctoral researcher position with the Institute of Future Media, Democracy and Society (FuJo) at Dublin City University, working on the Provenance project. The project is providing verification assistance for new content, and this role will contribute to research on trust and transparency in digital media.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on verification and provenance of digital content
- Contribute to project deliverables and publications
- Collaborate with the FuJo research team
Qualifications
- PhD completed in a relevant discipline (Media Studies, Communication, Political Science, or related field)
- Strong research record appropriate to career stage
Skills
- Expertise in digital media, disinformation, or content verification
- Qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a research team
