Job Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to supervise the amusement facility and operate the amusement rides as well as handling payment and dealing in customer service. Prospect Hill Amusement facility, dealing with the general public, operating rides. Provide a safe and clean environment at all times. Communicate effectively with program participants and their parents/guardians, colleagues and supervisors. Display enthusiasm and professionalism at all times. Be a positive role model for all participants. Set-up and clean-up before and after operating hours. Direct supervisor of operations. Discuss and report any issues/problems to Recreation Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with the general public.
- Prior experience working with the Recreation Dept. a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outgoing and friendly personality.
- Certification in CPR & First Aid, or ability to obtain.
- Full understanding of job responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours with emphasis on nights and weekends.
- Additional hours may include: afterschool hours, after 3 p.m. and week nights during the school calendar year, and summer hours June-August, and September-October.
- Any proficiency in recreational activities and customer service.
- Must successfully pass a Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI).
Special Requirements
Must be at least 18 yrs. old.
Pay
$20.00
Schedule
Varies on the need of the department Includes nights and weekend.
