About the role
The SkyWest AMT Pathway Program is designed for exceptional student mechanics who wish to join SkyWest Airlines while continuing their education. This program offers enhanced benefits eligibility and company seniority, allowing participants to waive the waiting period for health and travel benefits and potentially be immediately eligible for the company’s performance and financial quarterly bonuses upon hire as a full A&P Mechanic.
Primary Job Duties
- Receive enhanced benefits eligibility and company seniority
- Build relationships within SkyWest Airlines as you work towards graduation and receiving your A&P certification
- Reimburse up to $1,600 for A&P test fees with a one-year commitment to SkyWest
- Gain exclusive SkyWest operational experiences, including facility tours, job observing, special training, and more
- Guaranteed final interview to become a Level I Mechanic at SkyWest Airlines
- New A&P mechanics may also qualify for up to $1,500 in moving expense reimbursement plus mileage
Minimum Requirements
- Maintain attendance and good standing within school/program
- Be within 2 months - 2 years from completing your A&P certification (if more than 2 years away, please wait to apply, if less than 1 month, please apply directly to an A&P Mechanic position)
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
