About the role

The SkyWest AMT Pathway Program is designed for exceptional student mechanics who wish to join SkyWest Airlines while continuing their education. This program offers a unique opportunity to build relationships within the company, gain valuable mentorship, and prepare for a career as a full A&P Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Receive enhanced benefits eligibility and company seniority, including waiving the waiting period for health and travel benefits and potential immediate eligibility for performance and financial bonuses.
• Gain opportunities to interact with and receive mentorship from experienced SkyWest mechanic advisors.
• Eligible for up to $1,600 in A&P test fees reimbursement with a one-year commitment to SkyWest.
• Participate in exclusive SkyWest operational experiences such as facility tours, job observations, special training, and interviews.
• Guaranteed final interview to become a Level I Mechanic at SkyWest Airlines.
• New A&P mechanics may also qualify for up to $1,500 in moving expense reimbursement plus mileage.

Requirements

• Maintain attendance and good standing within the maintenance school/program.
• Be within 2 months to 2 years from completing your A&P certification (exceptions apply).
• Show good verbal and written communication skills.
