AMS Lead
About the role
As an AMS Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between business users, Primo IT, and XTEL support to ensure seamless operation of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Trade Promotion systems. You will be a valued member of our delivery team, working collaboratively with stakeholders across IT, business operations, and vendor support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison among business users, Primo IT, and XTEL support to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
- Run support reviews including weekly updates, monthly service reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Communicate maintenance windows, upgrades, and data-load schedules proactively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage expectations for P1/P2 incidents with timely and accurate status updates.
- Cook up and resolve upstream data issues with Primo IT/ETL and middleware owners.
- Validate outputs including KPIs, metrics, and system recommendations to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Manage monthly refreshes in Primo/XTEL and resolve issues as they arise.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and high-severity issues; share findings with stakeholders and drive problem management efforts.
- Drive workarounds, permanent fixes, and related change requests to improve system reliability.
- Escalate to the XTEL PMO as needed, partnering on analysis and root cause investigations.
Requirements
- XTEL RGM expertise: Strong functional and technical knowledge with configuration capability; candidates with experience in other RGM platforms will also be considered.
- Data integration: ETL and interface understanding, including data lake to XTEL integration monitoring.
- SAP S/4HANA: Knowledge of pricing/sales and customer/material master data as it relates to RGM flows.
- SQL/databases: Ability to diagnose data issues, validate loads, and reconcile outputs.
- Trade Promotion data structures, views, and pipeline familiarity.
Qualifications
- Python stack proficiency: Pandas, PySpark/Spark, and matplotlib.
- Azure DevOps experience: Boards, Pipelines, and Repos.
- Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook and basic machine learning concepts.

Pay
The base salary for this position ranges between $70,000 – $132,000 USD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.
Schedule
