Amphibian Keeper (Evergreen)

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Amphibian Keeper to join our Animal Department. You will be responsible for breeding adult frogs, caring for eggs, tadpoles, and froglets, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care and breeding of adult frogs
• Frog egg, tadpole, and froglet care
• Prep tasks
• Meetings and team-building
• Maintain work area cleanliness

Qualifications

• Passion for herpetology
• Amphibian husbandry experience
• High attention to detail
• An excellent work ethic
• A positive, outgoing attitude
• Strong communication skills

Special Consideration

• Frog breeding experience
• Degree in Biology/Zoology
• Professional herpetology experience
• Leadership experience

Skills

• Interest in traveling to shows/expos
• Interest in videos/social media content

Pay

$16.00/hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday OR Sunday through Thursday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM
