AML Business Analyst I

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled AML Business Analyst I to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting form $28 per hour Location: Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, Mount Laurel New Jersey, Maine, Atlanta GA Location Type: Remote Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core business hours Job Responsibilities:Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to identify trends, exceptions, discrepancies, and potential areas of riskMonitor the execution and effectiveness of established business controls and ensure required activities are completed accurately and within established service-level agreements (SLAs)Identify potential control gaps, process breakdowns, or operational concerns and escalate findings to management when appropriateAssist with documenting control execution, maintaining supporting evidence, and tracking corrective actions or process improvementsUtilize Power BI to review dashboards, analyse performance metrics, monitor trends, and communicate business resultsUtilize SharePoint to maintain documentation, organize business information, support workflow activities, and manage access to shared resourcesCollect, review, and analyse business data to support operational decisions and identify opportunities for increased efficiencyPrepare reports, summaries, and presentations that communicate findings, trends, risks, and recommendations to business partners and leadershipSupport mortgage-related processes and apply working knowledge of mortgage operations, documentation, servicing, or related financial-services requirementsResearch and respond to customer inquiries while providing timely, professional, and accurate serviceInteract with customers and internal business partners to gather information, clarify concerns, research issues, and facilitate resolutionTrack open items, exceptions, and identified issues through completion while maintaining accurate documentationAssist with the development and maintenance of procedures, process maps, job aids, and other operational documentationParticipate in process-improvement initiatives and provide recommendations based on data analysis, customer feedback, and operational observationsPartner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and other business stakeholdersPerform additional analytical and operational responsibilities as needed to support business objectivesExperience & Qualification Requirements:UG in business or IT degree required1-3 years of experience in business analysis, operations, financial services, mortgage operations, reporting, customer service, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of Microsoft SharePointWorking knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including the ability to navigate dashboards and interpret reporting and performance dataExperience reviewing operational reports and identifying trends, exceptions, or discrepanciesGeneral understanding of business controls, control execution, risk management, or quality-assurance processesMust be comfortable with customer interactions able to engagePrevious mortgage, lending, banking, or financial-services experience preferredHow to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
