Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and performance, creating engaging client experiences and fostering long-term relationships.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by supporting the team.
- Identify business opportunities and challenges, and propose solutions to improve the business.
- Engage with customers, offering a unique shopping experience and assisting with product exploration and cross-selling.
- Welcome customers according to AMI values, ensuring they are friendly, smiling, and in a good mood.
- Understand customer needs and provide relevant product selections, accommodating fitting and alteration requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducing new customers to the brand.
- Support the team in organizing stockrooms, maintaining accurate stock levels, and updating on new arrivals.
- Represent and transmit AMI culture, sharing products and brand knowledge with the team.
- Coach team members on new skills and selling techniques, conducting morning meetings and team debriefs.
- Manage and track best-selling and slow-selling items, and develop strategies to address inventory issues.
- Update store trackers and communications boards, and manage cash vaults and deliveries.
- Oversee cycle counts, end-of-season processes, and other back-of-house operations, seeking ways to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience in retail management.
- Experience in stock managing, operations, or retail is preferred.
- Familiarity with sales techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for fostering a positive customer environment.
- A strong understanding of fashion and trends in the luxury market.
- A second language would be advantageous.
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
