Responsibilities
- Perform any duties or tasks communicated by the Kitchen Manager.
- Delegates tasks to other food service workers.
- Fills in for the Kitchen Manager when absent.
- Set up and breakdown serving stations in correlation to the daily menu.
- Prepare, assemble, and replenish food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Has positive and friendly attitude towards students, staff, fellow coworkers, and management.
- Maintains proper personal hygiene and adheres to dress code.
Requirements
- ServSafe Certification: Food Handler of some other Safety & Sanitation Certificate or equal standard or higher is prefered but not required.
- Ability to adapt and work well with a changing work environment.
- Works well under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull heavy carts and racks daily.
- Must be able to work in varied work environment temperatures.
- Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.
- Must be able to sommunicate with the public and have good customer relation skills.
- Must be able to follow a standardized recipe.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a food service setting preferred.
