AMFT Per-Diem Contract Clinician – Hybrid

Per DiemLos Angeles, CAPosted 23 hours ago Harmony Outreach We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to provide community mental health services in a hybrid setting. This position is primarily telehealth, with occasional in-office services when clinically necessary. The AMFT will provide psychotherapy services to individuals and may work with couples, families, and groups depending on experience and program needs. The clinician will work under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional and will receive individual and group clinical supervision. Compensation: $50 per client/contact hour Schedule: Per diem with flexible scheduling Setting: Hybrid – primarily telehealth with occasional in-office services as needed Responsibilities Include Provide individual psychotherapy and other assigned community mental health servicesConduct sessions primarily through telehealth, with in-person services when clinically appropriate or requiredComplete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation in a timely mannerMaintain an assigned caseload and coordinate care when appropriateParticipate in required individual and group clinical supervisionConsult with the clinical supervisor regarding risk, safety concerns, treatment planning, and other clinical needsMaintain client confidentiality and appropriate professional boundariesFollow applicable ethical, legal, organizational, and California BBS requirementsParticipate in case consultation and clinical meetings as required Qualifications Current California AMFT registration in good standingMaster’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or another qualifying mental health fieldEligible to accrue supervised experience toward California licensureComfortable providing psychotherapy through telehealthStrong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently while appropriately utilizing clinical supervisionInterest in working with diverse community mental health populations We are looking for an associate who is dependable, compassionate, open to feedback, and interested in continuing to develop their clinical skills in a supportive environment. This position provides an opportunity to accrue supervised clinical hours toward licensure while receiving both individual and group supervision and maintaining a flexible, primarily telehealth schedule.
