Per Diem Community Clinician

About the role

The Per Diem Community Clinician will provide home and community-based services including:

• Stabilization and clinical interventions
• Individual and family psychotherapy
• Support, service planning, advocacy, and service linkage to youth authorized for service through DMH and their families
• Culturally competent, trauma-informed, strength-based services to children and families struggling with mental health, trauma, inadequate community supports, language barriers, poverty, and homelessness
• 24-hour on-call consultation as required

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human service field, psychology, social work, or other clinical discipline that leads to independent licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT)
• Minimum one-year clinical experience working directly with youth who have experienced serious emotional disturbance or emotional challenges to well-being and their families
• DMH Level 1 requires Master Level and Level 2 requires Independent Licensure
• Ability to work independently in supporting community-based caseload
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Pay

• Unlicensed Clinician: $33.16/hour
• Independent Licensure: $35.70/hour
