About the role
The AmeriCorps Program and Compliance Coordinator plays a central role in the successful implementation of Blueprint’s AmeriCorps program. This position oversees the day-to-day administration of the program, including member recruitment and enrollment, compliance monitoring, training, data management, and member engagement and communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full AmeriCorps member lifecycle, including outreach, interviewing, enrollment, onboarding, and exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential member records, including eligibility documentation, service agreements, and required compliance materials.
- In collaboration with Blueprint’s Data Analyst, track and assess member service hours and timesheets to ensure members are on pace to fulfill their term of service requirements.
- Create and facilitate onboarding training for AmeriCorps members regarding AmeriCorps requirements, any required updates, and time tracking requirements.
- Purchase program materials and branded items in accordance with budget guidelines.
- Monitor program adherence to AmeriCorps regulations, including prohibited activities, service hour requirements, and member eligibility.
- Conduct orientations and ongoing training on AmeriCorps rules, expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Draft, update, and maintain the AmeriCorps Program Manual and related policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports and updates for leadership and support grant reporting and audit preparation.
- Facilitate AmeriCorps orientation sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Support national and local volunteer events, including AmeriCorps and other community service initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to the Leadership Team and Blueprint’s Grant Writer on program progress and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of experience in program coordination, project management, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions
This non-exempt position may require occasional evening or weekend hours to support training sessions, service projects, volunteer events, or other program activities. Work schedules may vary based on program needs.
