Americas PM Leader

As the Americas Program Management Leader at Garrett Motion, you will lead the North America program management team responsible for managing multiple projects across various customers and regions. Key responsibilities include:

• Technical Initiatives and Planning: Initiate and define projects, allocate resources, and develop detailed plans aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Execution: Ensure project commitments are met according to scope, cost, quality, timing, and resources. Drive a robust review mechanism and mitigate risks through a change management process.
• Risk Management: Identify, anticipate, and mitigate risks related to technical, manufacturing, supplier, business, and cost factors. Escalate significant risks to leadership.
• Financial Management: Control product costs during development, manage project budgets, and resources, including securing customer funding. Ensure adherence to organizational strategies and goals.
• Leadership and Influence: Delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and motivate the team. Influence decisions positively to achieve project objectives. Coach and lead the project team across diverse cultures and regions.
• Communication and Reporting: Report project progress accurately, monitor implementation, and prepare formal status reports. Lead regular project reviews and obtain approvals at key phase gate reviews.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with at least 5-8 years of program management experience (preferably with PMP certification). Experience in automotive environments and financial metrics is preferred.
