Job Overview
The Interpreter assists deaf or hard of hearing individuals by facilitating communication in a variety of scenarios related to their day-to-day activities. This role involves providing intercultural mediation to help ensure that communication is clear and effective, enabling the delivery of culturally sensitive support. A commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience, maintaining patient privacy and safety, and fostering a spirit of teamwork is essential for this position.
Your Background and Experience
- Work Experience: 1 + years.
- Certifications are not compulsory, but desirable (Ed: K-12, NIC, CI, EIC).
- Fluency in spoken and written English and ASL interpreting, Professional level interpreting.
