About the role

As a Language Services Associate, you will be responsible for providing translation and interpretation services to clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver accurate, culturally sensitive translations and interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from English to target languages and vice versa
• Provide oral interpretation services in meetings and conferences
• Collaborate with clients to ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in translations and interpretations
• Adapt to different client needs and preferences
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Interpretation, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional translation and/or interpretation experience
• Strong proficiency in at least two languages, including fluency in English and one additional language
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Passion for providing high-quality translation and interpretation services

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse client populations
• Knowledge of translation and interpretation standards and best practices
• Understanding of legal and medical terminology
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

Pay
