Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled American Sign Language Interpreter for a contract position at Federal Way Public Schools in Federal Way, WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-classroom ASL interpretation for students, staff, and school activities
• Facilitate effective communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and others
• Support student learning and participation in educational activities
• Attend meetings, school events, and related assignments as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow district policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must hold valid ASL Interpreter certification/licensure required by Washington State
• Educational/School-based interpreting experience preferred
• RID Certification preferred
• EIPA score may be required depending on assignment
• Experience supporting K-12 students strongly preferred
• Ability to provide accurate real-time interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills required
