American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters with Kentucky License

About the role

We are looking for skilled American Sign Language interpreters with a valid Kentucky license to work in schools, medical facilities, and other social settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and effective communication between deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing counterparts.
• Ensure confidentiality and respect for privacy during interactions.
• Adhere to professional ethics and standards of practice.

Requirements

• Valid Kentucky ASL interpreter license.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language.
• Knowledge of relevant medical terminology.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as an ASL interpreter.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel within the Cincinnati area.
