Responsibilities
- Support the management team
- Be a resource for all departments
- Model for customer service
- Drive for sales
- Skilled problem solver
- Coach and model exceptional customer service on the sales floor
- Train and oversee team members in one or more departments
- Provide daily support, direction, and guidance to customers and team members
- Resolve customer issues and complaints
- Escalate problems to the management team when necessary
- Aid in the daily operation of the store
- Assist in processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
