AMD MISSION COMMAND PROGRAM INTEGRATOR

This role supports the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, Air and Missile Defense Mission Command Product Office (AMD MC PdO) to assist and coordinate Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control System software product requirements, focusing on the Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) system portfolio including the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) and Patriot, as well as integration of Sensor and Weapon Platforms such as Sentinel, Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS), and Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC). This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to better understand the scope of an Initiative/Capability.
- Develop concepts utilizing a Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach in an Agile SW workflow and environment.
- Assemble Artifacts and other information into Solutions Initiative Documents (SIDs) as well as Solutions Engineering Documents (SEDs) and refine Jira tickets as necessary.
- Model Capability behavior (SV-1, SV-4) using the MagicDraw MBSE tool.
- Create/modify existing behavior to include Functions and Data Exchanges/Signals.
- Define Acceptance Criteria for a Capability and trace the Acceptance Criteria to behavior in the model.
- Determine the current Capabilities Description Document (CDD) and System Spec requirements being satisfied by the capability and establish those links in the model.
- Recommend follow-up Feature tickets to be implemented at the Program Level.
- Facilitate/Lead both Internal and Formal Reviews of an Initiative/Capability.
- Adjudicate review comments and transition recommended Capabilities/Features to the backlog by drafting Capabilities/Features for implementation using Jira.
- Participate in regularly scheduled team stand-ups as well as Team Planning, Retrospectives, and Prioritization.

Requirements
- An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or significant applicable experience.
- 10+ years of applicable experience associated with business, financial, contract, and software management activities.
- A strong understanding of and experience with AIAMD systems.
- Good communications skills, people skills, and enthusiasm, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment.
- Ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations to staff contractors and government officials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Army acquisition product and/or program management experience.
- Previous experience with the Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, Sentinel, LTAMDS, and Indirect Fire Protection Capability.
- Previous experience managing contractual deliverables.
- Previous experience with Atlassian software management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
