Responsibilities

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit.

Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments.

Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

• Compensation Range $104,000.00 - $140,400.00

• Wilmot Cancer Institute is seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead the Gynecologic Oncology ambulatory practice based at Lattimore Road with ambulatory clinics at Highland and Webster.
• This unique team provides a single point of contact, coordinating everything from initial diagnosis and complex surgery at Highland Hospital to medical oncology treatments and survivorship.
• This leadership role is responsible for managing a busy, complex ambulatory practice, providing direct oversight of registered nurses and ambulatory care technicians, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
