Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
  • Affords individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
  • Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Engages in the “workplace community” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.

    Education Requirement

    Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school, required.

    Licensure Requirement

    Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.

    Experience

    Three years of pediatric clinical experience, preferred.

    • FREQUENTLY: Bend/twist, Blood and/or Bodily Fluids, Chemicals/Medications, Communicable Diseases and/or Pathogens, Depth perception, Flexing/extending of neck, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Patient Equipment, Peripheral vision, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 26-40 lbs, Pushing / Pulling: 41-60 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Sitting, Squat/kneel
    • CONTINUOUSLY: Audible speech, Computer skills, Decision Making, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 21-40 lbs, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Standing, Walking
