Job Summary

As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care to clinic patients; performs diagnostic testing and related clinical procedures to appropriate level of training/scope of licensure and established procedures;
• Independently triages nursing situations in accordance with standing orders/protocols;
• Addresses more complex, urgent or emergent situations escalated from other clinic staff;
• Makes independent wound assessments and performs complex wound care and dressing changes, including placement or changing of wound vac;
• Inserts and/or removes tubes, drains, urinary catheters, including removal of peripherally-inserted central catheter (PICC); applies splints/braces;
• Instructs patients in the collection of samples and other tests; ensures that patient or family understands follow-up and referral information;
• Informs patients of lab results, calls in prescriptions to pharmacies and returns practitioners’ phone messages.

Requirements

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Registered Nurse: WA;
• Basic Life Support - CPR;
• PREFERRED: One year RN work experience in a clinic setting OR two years of acute care RN work experience.
