About the role

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Malignant Hematology Program. The Malignant Hematology Program specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various blood cancers and autoimmune disorders. The clinic cares for 150 patients daily and offers comprehensive diagnostic workups, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other innovative treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.
• Embody the vision, mission, and philosophy of Moffitt Nursing and are committed to and accountable for personalized patient and family centered care and the concepts of Duffy's quality caring model/caring factors.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Oncology as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 years of experience in Malignant Hematology as a Registered Nurse.
• OCN or ACON certification.

Qualifications

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience.
• ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience.
• BLS Certification.

The salary range for this position represents the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
