About the role
The role involves supervising and coordinating activities and employees of an ambulatory office. It includes providing daily supervision to staff, ensuring prompt and courteous service, monitoring daily operations, coaching and counseling staff, and handling patient/family or staff complaints.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities related to patient care activities within the ambulatory office.
- Provides daily supervision to staff to ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
- Maintains functional knowledge of operational areas and is able to step into staffing as needed.
- Ensures that patient satisfaction is being met and reported to Manager or Director any issues.
- Assists with annual budget process.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Three (3) years of health care experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) upon hire.
- Two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position.
