About the Role
This position involves providing direct outpatient patient care in a gastroenterology setting. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans and support clinical staff and providers in daily patient management.
Responsibilities
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients using critical nursing skills.
- Ensure clinical protocols and assessment guidelines are followed.
- Support provider documentation in compliance with standards.
- Provide patient education and support through verbal and written instructions.
- Collaborate with primary care providers (PCPs) and specialists to optimize healthcare outcomes.
- Maintain safety standards in a safety-sensitive role.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of nursing experience; 5–10 years preferred.
- Active RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Schedule
Full-time, with no call, weekend, or holiday work required.
