Ambulatory Nurse - Gastroenterology

About the Role

This position involves providing direct outpatient patient care in a gastroenterology setting. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans and support clinical staff and providers in daily patient management.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients using critical nursing skills.
• Ensure clinical protocols and assessment guidelines are followed.
• Support provider documentation in compliance with standards.
• Provide patient education and support through verbal and written instructions.
• Collaborate with primary care providers (PCPs) and specialists to optimize healthcare outcomes.
• Maintain safety standards in a safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience; 5–10 years preferred.
• Active RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Schedule

Full-time, with no call, weekend, or holiday work required.
