Ambulatory Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation – Procedural Suite Position – Registered Nurse, Senior Level 2. Outpatient

About the role

Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Care of all ages of patients using local anesthesia
• Assisting with spinal injections
• Assisting with minor hand-based procedures
• Osteoporosis infusion therapy
• Pre and post-surgery assessments
• Circulating and documenting during procedures
• Pre and post-procedure education
• Other opportunities include Tenex, Cooleaf, RFA, and PRP procedures

Requirements

• Strong IV skills
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Excellent teamwork, ICARE values, communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• Prior experience in surgical or pre-post anesthesia is preferred

Pay

$40.03 - $54.04 per hour

Schedule

FT position available, primarily days, 8 hour shifts
