Ambulatory Care Flex Team - Registered Nurse Level 2 or 3

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of leadership, provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Absorb and assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Work temporary assignments ranging from 8-16 weeks in support of staffing needs within Ambulatory patient care clinics.
• Provide patient care opportunities including clinic visits, pre-intra-post procedure care, telephone triage, and care coordination.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills.
• Show proactive and autonomous decision-making abilities.
• Show good organizational skills.
• Work in fast-paced environments.
• Opportunity for experienced nurses or those considering the Ambulatory Care Nurse Residency program.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or procedural area setting preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse (RN).
• Must have a current New York State license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Must have experience in an outpatient or procedural area setting.

Pay

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
