Ambassador - Culinary/Nutrition

Kettering Health Main Campus – Kettering. PRN/Resource position with varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by coordinating and delivering meals that align with prescribed dietary needs, enhancing patient satisfaction and safety.
• Acts as a liaison between patients and the nutrition services team to ensure accurate meal selection, delivery, and adherence to dietary orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in food service or customer service.
• No experience required at hire; must comply with state food safety and handling regulations and organizational policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or training in nutrition, food service, or a related field.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, especially involving patient interaction.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
