Ambassador and Travel Teams Manager

About the role

The Ambassador and Travel Teams Manager leads the deployment and oversight of travel and ambassador nursing teams, acting as a liaison between operations and nursing departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for site support and staff deployment, including Travel and Ambassador teams.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members, including performance check-ins, development planning, and addressing performance issues.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and operations teams to ensure team effectiveness and goal alignment.
• Track data and operational effectiveness, manage projects, and report on key metrics and risks.
• Support new business transitions, compliance initiatives, and uphold accreditation standards (e.g., ACA, NCCHC).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: NCCHC and/or ACA knowledge and experience. At least three years’ experience in corrections. 5+ years project management experience managing multiple projects to completion, preferably in healthcare operations or systems-oriented environments. Previous employment as an HSA/DON preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: RN Licensure, CPR certification.
