Pay

$55.20–75.03/hour

Schedule

40 hours/week. Must be available during all operating hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–9:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:30 AM–6:00 PM. Rotating shifts include mid and later evening rotations, weekend rotations, and occasional holidays. Hours and shift location subject to change based on department needs.

About the Role

Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensure that drug interactions are reviewed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent (see equivalency information).
  • Licensed Pharmacist.
  • No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements

  • Intermittently sit at a computer workstation; perform tasks with repetitive motions (e.g., typing).
  • Stand or walk with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally stand or walk with objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.
  • Risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job.
  • Exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes (including waste), cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent individuals.
