About the Role
You will be a key member of the delivery station team, responsible for preparing packages for final delivery. Your tasks include receiving shipments, building and sorting pallets, scanning and preparing orders using handheld devices, and transporting packages to delivery vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process packages for delivery
- Use technology to scan, sort, and organize orders
- Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages
- Handle truck deliveries of customer packages
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to understand instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Operate carts, hand trucks, and safety gear
- Work in varying temperatures and environments with moving vehicles
Work Environment
You will operate equipment, follow safety protocols, and adapt to different schedules, including early morning and overnight shifts. The environment is climate-controlled but can be noisy, with safety gear provided. Physical activity and adherence to safety are essential.
