Amazon Content Producer
About the role
The Amazon Content Producer is responsible for the end-to-end success of creative assets built specifically for Amazon. This role combines Amazon and e-commerce marketplace expertise, creative strategy, and hands-on production management to help brands create content that improves the quality and performance of their Amazon listings. This role can successfully audit other e-commerce channels to determine what existing content can be effectively repurposed for Amazon, identify critical gaps, and recommend the photo, video, and infographic assets needed to improve performance. The Producer serves as the client's primary point of contact and is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship, managing scope and profitability, and identifying opportunities to expand the account. They work across soona's teams to coordinate schedules, crew, talent, and resources while ensuring every asset meets the client's goals, Amazon's current requirements, and soona's quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Client onboarding, project briefing, budget and scope management
- Audit Amazon listings to identify content gaps and opportunities to improve product education, differentiation, and conversion
- Review brand websites and other e-commerce channels to determine what content can be effectively repurposed for Amazon
- Recommend the photo, video, infographic, A+ Content, and Brand Store assets needed to strengthen Amazon performance
- Translate audit findings into clear creative briefs, shot lists, and production plans
- Lead projects from client onboarding and pre-production through live production, post-production, and final delivery
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, crew, talent, and other production resources while protecting profitability
- Ensure final assets meet Amazon specifications, client goals, and soona's quality standards
- Serve as the client's primary point of contact, managing expectations, feedback, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements
- Master problem solver, think outside the box, and SOPs
- Self-starter and ability to work autonomously when needed
- Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables from start to finish
- Stay highly organized to ensure success across the full process (pre-production, live shoot, post-production, and asset delivery)
- Experience producing photo, video, and infographic content specifically for Amazon
- Understand Amazon listing images, video, infographics, A+ Content, and Brand Store content
- Stay current on Amazon's evolving creative requirements, capabilities, and best practices
- Confidently audit e-commerce content, make strategic recommendations, and turn those recommendations into executable production plans
- Be an entrepreneurial, highly organized, and autonomous problem solver with exceptional communication skills
- Have experience in:
- 4+ years experience with high-touch client management and collaboration
- 4+ years in photo and video production
- Amazon-specific experience in content creation

- B.A. in relevant field
- Proficient with G-Suite and project management tools
Benefits
This is a part-time contract or projects-based position based in Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN, or Austin, TX that reports to Operations Leadership. This will be a hybrid role with an expectation to come into the studio and office space for key projects and meetings.
Pay
Hourly rate: starting at $40/hr, rate increase possible based on Amazon experience
