About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Amazon Account Specialist to manage and optimize operational execution on the Amazon platform while supporting strategic account management. This position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with internal and external brand management, ensuring catalog integrity, promotional accuracy, and compliance with Amazon standards for Almo’s Consumer Division.
Responsibilities
- Manage Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts, ensuring product listings, pricing, and promotional details are live, accurate, and optimized.
- Engage and collaborate internally and externally with brands to align on goals, promotional strategies, and operational execution.
- Partner with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) and brand stakeholders to monitor availability, sell-through, and readiness of items, driving growth opportunities.
- Oversee onboarding and maintenance of SKUs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Amazon standards.
- Administer and reconcile Cost Support Agreements (CSAs) and coordinate with finance and sales teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, marketing, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and operational priorities.
- Track and analyze performance metrics related to Amazon operations, inventory availability, and promotional effectiveness; share insights with brand partners.
- Troubleshoot catalog or content issues and ensure all item-level data meets Amazon listing standards.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and recommend strategies to enhance brand presence and profitability on Amazon.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or related experience.
- 2–4 years of e-commerce account management and/or operations experience on major e-retailer platforms; Amazon and consumer goods or distribution.
- Direct experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
- Demonstrated ability to manage item setup, availability monitoring, and online merchandising support.
- Experience with Cost Support Agreement (CSA) setup and reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Amazon retail tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Almo’s product categories (consumer electronics, appliances, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of digital shelf metrics and content optimization best practices.
