About the Role

Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
Maintains proper set-up and cleanliness of station before, during, and after shift
Abides by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payment
Assists with bussing tables
Performs various other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of high school education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

Qualifications

• Team player
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills to make change and give refunds
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Skills

• Knowledge of all menu items and their preparation and service procedures
• Ability to operate cash registers and calculators
