About the role
The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Memory Care unit.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents
- Implement care plans based on residents' needs
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure resident health and wellness
- Oversee staff training and supervision
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in gerontology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care or related field
- Current CPR certification
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of memory care best practices
- Experience with medication management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
