AM Operations Supervisor

About the role

This opportunity supports our AM shift and is located at our Reynoldsburg campus. Our company-owned distribution and fulfillment centers in central Ohio are core to our operations. We also use third-party distribution centers, third-party-operated direct channel fulfillment centers, and pop-up fulfillment facilities throughout North America to better position inventory geographically. Construction was completed on our largest fulfillment distribution center in 2022, located in Commercial Point, Ohio, providing over one million square feet of space and innovation for additional growth capacity.

The Operations Supervisor will lead the daily operation of their department within the distribution center, creating a welcoming, positive, and fun working environment. This role serves as the frontline connection between business success and associate experience through leadership of a non-exempt team while advocating Bath & Body Works values.

Responsibilities

• Use understanding of the larger supply chain network to lead and drive departmental objectives.
• Implement appropriate plans to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
• Analyze data and information to identify new opportunities for cost reduction and innovation; provide thoughtful recommendations and standard process solutions.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the brand, cross-functional partners, and key team members across the logistics network.
• Spend the majority of the workday on the floor coaching and developing top talent by providing feedback on performance that is timely, specific, and accurate, focusing on strengths and development opportunities.
• Consistently motivate, recognize, and reward individual and team accomplishments.
• Clarify roles and responsibilities for each team member, ensuring understanding and commitment to specific objectives and a collaborative work approach.
• In partnership with the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, support compliance and performance improvements pertaining to Safety and Regulatory expectations.

Requirements

• Leadership experience and a consistent track record of success developing talent in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with and influence associates across varying levels of responsibility and functional expertise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to effectively learn new systems.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and a solution-focused mindset.
• Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
