Job Description

Some of Parsons recent landmark rail and transit systems design-build projects in California include California High-Speed Rail Construction Package 1, LA Metro Westside Purple Line Extension, LA Metro G Line, and Foothill Gold Line. Other projects in the West include Federal Way Link Extension in Seattle, Washington, HART Airport Guideway and Stations Design-Build Project in Honolulu, HART Center City Guideway and Stations Design-Build, and Everett Link Extension and Downtown Redmond Link Extension.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage a project or program valued over $1 billion in total installed cost
• Lead a design team as part of an alternative delivery project
• Deliver greenfield rail and transit programs
• Foster collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and contracting partners
• Deliver rail and transit programs that will improve the community

Required Skills

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering (or related)
• 20 + years of related work experience
• Registered California Professional Engineer
• Design/Build experience as the Design-Manager on a large infrastructure project
• Rail & Transit design experience
• Proven background of leading multidisciplinary teams on challenging, high-profile projects

Pay

$157,500.00 - $283,500.00

About the Role

Currently with over 30 design-build projects underway in the US and over 50 pursuits, you will have numerous opportunities to deliver signature projects across North America. There are opportunities in the Southern California region where you can provide direction and management for large scale rail & transit projects. These opportunities could include LA Metro Southeast Gateway Line, Eastside Transit Corridor, California High-Speed Rail, and more.
