Alternative Investment Institutional Specialist II
About the role
The UMB Registered Fund team manages the daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients. As the Alternative Institutional Inst. Specialist II, you will interface with the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) to process mutual fund trades in the Transfer Agency System.
Responsibilities
- Establish brokers on the TA system
- Process commission and 12b 1 payments
- Resolve exceptions relating to NSCC settlements
- Ensure accurate cash movements
- Work closely with brokers, client personnel and various internal departments to process work accurately and on a timely basis and to resolve problems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree OR combination of related experience and education may be considered in lieu of the four-year degree requirement
- At least 1 year of experience within the financial service industry
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay
Compensation Range $43,000.00 - $82,590.00
The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
