Alternative Delivery Manager, Small Modular Nuclear Reactor - Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc.

About the role

The Alternative Delivery Manager position focuses on small modular nuclear reactor power projects. Responsibilities include providing direction and management throughout the project lifecycle, from business development to design management. Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, owners, developers, contractors, and engineers.
• Facilitate early engagement with clients and manage project pursuits.
• Communicate and drive progress with internal stakeholders.
• Review RFPs, estimates, and ensure proposal quality and compliance with RFP requirements.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients and team members.
• Lead project pursuits and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of project management, construction management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience.
• Experience in alternative delivery projects, including design build and EPC.
• Experience in key project leadership roles.
• Experience with technical writing and scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.
• A valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of project management, construction management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience.
• Experience in alternative delivery projects, including design build and EPC.
• Experience in key project leadership roles.
• Experience with technical writing and scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goal-oriented and organized.
• Ability to multitask and manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of nuclear and nuclear regulation.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods such as design build and EPC.

Pay

Expected Salary Range: $147,000—$203,000 USD

Schedule

Travel requirements may exceed 50% depending on assignment and project requirements.
