About the role

Responsibilities
- Preside over municipal court cases
- Adjudicate disputes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure fairness and impartiality in all proceedings
- Conduct hearings and make rulings based on evidence presented
- Communicate effectively with parties involved and the public
- Prepare and file necessary legal documents
- Participate in continuing legal education programs
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage caseload efficiently
- Experience with courtroom procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Salary range: $X - $Y per year
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
