Alterations Manager

About the role

Lead and support alterations staff across high-end retail locations, ensuring efficient processes and high customer service levels.

Responsibilities

• Organize and develop efficient processes within the department.
• Drive positive outcomes by setting objectives and monitoring results.
• Foster a professional work environment aligned with company standards of excellence.
• Promote effective teamwork between sales staff and alterations team.
• Maintain high customer service levels through recruiting, training, and developing associates.
• Provide ongoing education, performance assessments, and feedback related to quality and productivity.
• Handle ad hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

• Preferably a 4-year degree.
• At least 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Fitting/tailoring experience in luxury merchandise is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of alterations industry, fabrications, and styling of luxury goods is advantageous.
• Proficiency in technology tools such as Word and Excel.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
