ALS Lab Manager

About the role

The ALS Lab Manager will oversee all aspects of the laboratory operations, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality research outputs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
• Manage and mentor a team of laboratory technicians and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of research projects.
• Prepare and present reports on laboratory performance and progress.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, bioinformatics).
• At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with eDiscovery processes and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with laboratory automation and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the biotechnology industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
