ALS Lab Manager

About the role

The ALS Lab Manager will oversee all aspects of the laboratory operations, including managing the lab staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality research outputs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
• Manage and mentor a team of laboratory technicians and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of research projects.
• Prepare and present reports on laboratory activities and outcomes.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, bioinformatics).
• At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role.
• Proven ability to manage a team and provide technical guidance.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with eDiscovery processes and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with AI tools and their integration into laboratory workflows.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
