Responsibilities

• Operate grooming equipment to smooth out the snow surface for quality skiing and riding.
• Maintain the snow surface to ensure snow quality throughout the ski season.
• Receive direction from the Mountain Manager regarding nightly grooming logs, ramp maintenance needs, and other grooming requirements for the shift.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to use to ensure safe operation.
• Safely operate grooming equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions immediately to the mechanic.
• Complete the training program and adhere to its standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Alpine grooming experience.
• Comfortable operating machinery in extreme weather conditions on varied mountain terrain.
• Skill in operating heavy machinery, including trail‑grooming equipment.
• Completion and understanding of the Groomer Training and Certification program.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety standards.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Full‑time, part‑time, and on‑call positions available.
